  DC ELSEWORLDS In my last post I talk a little about an elseworld story called Batman/Houdini so for today I will talk about what elseworld stories are.As well as give you some examples of some of those stories. Elseworld stories for those who don’t know are basically what if stories featuring your favorite dc characters in concepts different from the main continuity.For example in the Batman castle of the bat it is story based off the story of Frankenstein which Bruce tries to bring back his father back to life after he is killed.Another Elseworld story would be Superman speeding bullets where superman’s ship landed in Gotham and is raised by  Thomas and Martha Wayne and becomes batman. Now I know that there are some are bad ,but there are some that are good so to me personally I think that the concept is pretty awesome because it's cool to have a fresh take on some of are favorite dc characters.One of the elseworld stories that I would like to read is Bat

  BATMAN/HOUDINI In today's post I will talk about a dc elseworld story called Batman/Houdini. This is a one shot story set in the early 20s century Gotham where Batman teams up with the legendary escape artist Harry houdini.The story was written by Howard Chaykin and John Francis Moore. The story takes place in the 1907 where someone is kidnapping people in a poverty area in Gotham known as the devil’s workshop.While all of this is happening Harry Houdini is in town performing for Gotham’s elite where meets Bruce Wayne.Has they both go to a to seance along with Vale who is a reporting for the Gotham Globe.Has the story continue on Houdini teams up with batman to help rescue all the kidnapped people from the story Jack Schadenfreude which is basically this world version of the joker.The story itself is narrated by Houdini. I think this is a very good story even though it is only a one shot.I always loved some of this elseworld stories because they put
