In today’s post I will talk about the gothic soap opera show called Dark Shadows.The series aired on weekdays on the ABC network through june 27, 1966 to april 2, 1971.What made this show interesting to me was how the show feature different supernatural elements to the show like vampires,werewolves,witches,time travel,and even a parallel universe.



The show stars the Collins family, a wealthy family who live in Collinsport Maine where a number of supernatural occurrences have happened while they try to live their daily lives.The show gained more popularity with the appearance of the vampire Barnabas Collins which was played by Jonathan Frid.One of the things that I thought was interesting about the show throughout the series was that many characters were played by the same actors which can be sometimes confusing but still entertaining.I think my favorite storyline the show ever did had to be origin story of how Barnabas Collins became a vampire leading up to event of the beginning of the series.If you guys want me to a history of the Barnabas Collins post or have a favorite Dark Shadows storyline let me know in the comments.

THOUGHTS OF A SHELTERED MIND

  THOUGHTS OF A SHELTERED MIND Hello everyone for today’s post I am going to talk about a new book coming out called Thoughts of a Sheltered Life.Which is special to me because it is created by my twin brother Josh. This book will have a collection of poems written by him. Each of his poems will have different themes, for example poems about dealing with depression,anger,religion,and others. I also just want to say that I am very proud of my brother for being able to create this and I hope it helps people who deal with mental health on a daily basis. MINDSPELL ROCK BAND

  MIND SPELL Hello everyone, in today's post I will be talking about a new indie rock band called Mindspell. The members in the band are Eric Scott,Brent Carolus,Scott Hasson,Jamie Lane,and Brad Slemons.I first heard of the band from some buddies at a wrestling show and I first heard their music at a vfw post in Mount Union PA.When I heard it it was amazing they played both cover songs as well as originals songs.Then I met Eric Scott who is their lead guitarist and we became really good friends and he told me they are trying to make an album.Which I thought was pretty cool.Now I don’t have any samples of their music but if you guys want more information on this band please check out their facebook page Mindspell band and see for yourselves.They will also keep you updated on future events on where they will be playing.
